Arm balances take focus, balance, strength, sheer will and a good sense of humor. These poses can be very challenging but they are WORTH IT! We'll get into all of it (including working through the very real fear of falling!) as we break down the arm balances and take the "how does he do that?!" mystery out of these positions. There will be a whole lotta core work, a little flow to warm up, some wrist care and a lot of fun. We'll work on different ways to enter and exit these poses and, we'll make sure any questions you have about arm balances get answered!
This workshop will have all of the basics of arm balancing and inversions but this time we'll focus on some deeper hip and back opening to help us get into some different variations of kundinyasana and vashistasana. And our inversion focus will be...scorpion!
