Everyone tells us we need a strong core and, that “yoga strengthens your core”. We’ll learn how to strengthen the core and then figure out how to access that strength to help us balance on one foot or two hands or whatever we feel like standing on with more control and a better sense of focus. But strengthening doesn’t necessarily mean tightening. We’ll work on the true sign of a strong core – a core you can move. We’ll twist and bind more deeply and easily from a place of strength and balance. We’ll come away with a real sense that we’re not limited by our tightness but liberated through our strength. Our biggest obstacle will be balancing while laughing.
